Little sister, I once promised you that if I ever found a way to end the world I'd be sure you wouldn't suffer
Deexister is the title I have chosen for myself as I lie down curled up next to a candle snuffer
And it frees me to know
You're in good hands now
Oh my brother, I once told you that my mission was of mercy although it proved a bitter pill to swallow
Father, mother, when you taught me that each sparrow was an egg before it ever flew, the message wasn't hollow
And you, my lover, know that when a record plays the needle finds its way along a certain groove that it must always follow
And it frees me to know
You're in good hands now
I fell asleep to feed the flowers one day
So they would grow so high and far away
And the world is all I have
Each transistor in a radio plays the song a little louder so you can hear the wavelengths that are narrow
Deexister is the title I have chosen for myself as the end draws near and I become a sparrow
(You're in good hands now)

Really impressed with this album and the Days Between Stations' other material. The Billy Sherwood influence is clear on this record, which I enjoy, While not as complex as their earlier albums, DBS are able to write beautiful modern compositions with one eye on the past paying homage to prog masters of yesterday.
